The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah Coming to St. Paul in February
Well before Trevor Noah took over Jon Stewart's place as host of The Daily Show, I saw the South African comedian perform stand-up in his home country.
From 2012-2015, I spent three years doing non-profit work in South Africa. Some friends invited me to go see a comedian by the name of Trevor Noah. I had no clue who he was, but I went. As I sat in the auditorium -- tears rolling down my eyes and sides hurting from laughter -- I remember thinking that Trevor Noah was one of the funniest people I'd ever seen. His portrayal of life as a South African, his stereotypes of Americans and his impressions of just about any other nationality were spot-on and absolutely hysterical. He was clean, humble, professional and just a stand-up class-act.
So when it was announced in September 2015 that Trevor Noah would be taking over The Daily Show, I wasn't entirely surprised.
Now, Noah has just announced a 2019 arena tour. The Loud & Clear Tour 2019 will kick off in Toronto in January followed by 27 more major city stops including St. Paul's Xcel Energy Center Saturday, February 9.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10:00am at LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster and the Xcel Energy Center box office.
Personally, I highly recommend attending this show!
