    The Reminders

    Find your groove this weekend as one group delivers and inspiring performance. The Reminders,  featuring DJ Man-O-Wax and Amirah Sackett, is a visionary hip-hop performance infused with roots, soul and Colorado sunshine! Their sharp rhymes, and soulful vocals is something you can help but get on your feet and dance too. Tickets for the show are just $22, Senior $19, Faculty/Staff $15, Youth/Student ID $15, CSB/SJU Student $10. The show starts Friday at 7:30 p.m.

    Chestnut Brass

    St. Mary's Cathedral

    The Grammy winning Chestnut Brass Company will be performing in St. Cloud this weekend. The group has earned international acclaim for their brilliant performances on modern and historical brass instruments. They started as a street band in Philadelphia in 1977 and have performed in North and South America, Europe the Caribbean and Asia. The show will be held at St. Mary's Cathedral Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and $5 for students.

    Big Sing Honor Choir Festival

    St. Cloud State University

    St. Cloud State University will be holding a large music concert this weekend in Ritsche Auditorium. The Big Sing Honor Choir Festival features performances by the SCSU Concert Choir, Sauk Rapids-Rice Concert Choir and the Big Sing Festival Chorus, a choir group of nearly 200 high school and collegiate choral musicians. Award-winning Minneapolis composer and vocalist Jake Runestad will be the guest conductor. Tickets for the show are available at the door and are going for $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students and free for SCSU Students with ID. The concert begins at 5:00 p.m.

    Pleasant View Elementary - Cabin Fever

    Sauk Rapids

    Grab the kids and burn off a little energy this Friday out at Pleasantview Elementary School in Sauk Rapids. The school is hosting their annual family fun night, Cabin Fever, from 6-8 pm. There will be plenty of family friendly activities including bingo, archery, ring toss, bowling, crafts, cakewalk, and face painting! Pizza, cookies, and drinks will be available to buy. Proceeds from the event will go to the Pleasantview Parent Teacher Advisory Council. The event is free to attend and all are welcomed.

    Tapestry: The Music of Carole King

    Paramount Theatre

    Make your way to Paramount Theatre and join Justin Ploof and The Throwbacks for one special night. The group will be bringing you the hits of Carole King from her album Tapestry. King was a singer/songwriter who is the most successful female songwriter of the latter half of the 20th century. She either wrote or co-wrote 118 pop hits on the Billboard Hot 100.  King would also go on to have a successful solo career with sixteen Top 40 hits and selling over 75 million albums worldwide! Tickets for this show are $21 and the fun begins Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
