Today’s National Puppy Day, Meet Ozzy

Today is a pretty special day. It’s National Puppy Day. This day was orginated by Colleen Paige, she founded the celebration in 2006. Today was a day set aside to celebrate the unconditional love that puppies bring to people's lives and all the joy.

National Puppy Day also helps save orphaned puppies not just around the globe but right here in our community. You can find a new best friend at Tri-County Humane Society. You can adopt a dog or possibly a puppy, donate money to help the animals or even volunteer your time.

National Puppy Day is held on March 23rd every year in the hopes of improving the lives of puppies everywhere. Sounds to me like a day worth celebrating.
