The Minnesota Vikings (1-0) looked sharp across the board in their season opening 29-19 win over the visiting New Orleans Saints (0-1) Monday night at U.S. Bank Stadium. 

The five new starters on Minnesota's offensive line gave Sam Bradford the protection he needed to complete 27 of 32 for 346 yards on the way to three TD passes -- a pair going to WR Stefon Diggs, and one to TE Kyle Rudolph.

Rookie Vikings running back Delvin Cook carried the ball 22 times for 127 yards, setting the team rookie rushing record for an opening game. In comparison, Saints running back Adrian Peterson carried the ball 6 times for just 18 yards.

Minnesota wide receiver Adam Thielen (Detroit Lakes HS, Minnesota State-Mankato)caught a team leading 9 passes for 157 yards.

Coming up on Sunday (9/17) the Vikings travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers (1-0) at Noon on FOX.
