A special season for the Minnesota Vikings ended tonight in the NFC championship game in Philadelphia, falling to the Eagles 38-7 -- losing their bid to become the first Super Bowl team to play in their home stadium.

Earlier in the day the New England Patriots eliminated the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC championship game, beating the visiting Jags 24-20.

The Philadelphia Eagles will play the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 52 on Sunday, February 4th at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
