WATCH: ‘The Batman’ Teaser Trailer

A blurry figure comes into to focus and you see the chest and the iconic Batman symbol. Then the camera pans up and we see the jaw line and then the mask and then...that's it.

But we really can't expect much more than that, after all, it is a teaser trailer.

When word came out that Robert Pattinson was playing the dark knight in what is, again, another reboot, I was disappointed. Not quite to the Ben Affleck playing Batman level but close. Now, I will give Robert Pattinson a fair chance and reserve judgment until I see more.

With the way the suit looks in the trailer and the music that's playing (sounds the like 'Empire Theme'), this kind of has that 'Joker' vibe to it, so maybe it will be a good movie.

I was intrigued by what Matt Reeves, the director, said about his vision for the film.

I think there's a chance to do an almost noir-driven, detective version of Batman, that is point-of-view driven in a very, very powerful way...that hopefully is going to connect you to...what is going on inside of his head - Matt Reeves (director)
