[WATCH] Trickery? Are Starbucks Cups REALLY the Same Size?
What is this trickery?
Someone sent me this video, and quite honestly, I am still trying to figure out if it is real or not. My first thought is that this is a fake video. How can it be? You would think that if this were actually true, then someone would have noticed this a long time ago. The size of the cups is noted right on their menu.

The "Tall" or small in Starbucks terms is 12 ounces. The "Grande" or medium in Starbucks terms is 16 ounces. And yes, I know that Grande means large. But it is what it is at Starbucks. And the "Venti" literally means 20 in Italian, and that is 20 ounces.
In this video, the tall size cup, remember, supposed to be 12 ounces, fills the Grande size, which again, is supposed to be 16 ounces. Then it also fills the Venti size, which is supposed to be 20 ounces, almost twice the size of the Tall size cup.
So, I ask, what kind of trickery is this? I tend to be very skeptical of things like this unless I try it myself, which is exactly what I am going to do. This just seems so odd. But it were true, then, like the guy in the video says, save some money and always buy the Tall size coffee.
So, my thought is that this is totally fake. But it still makes me want to see if I can do this myself. Here is the extra tricky part.... how do I get these cups without having to take out a second mortgage on my home in order to buy three sizes of coffee from Starbucks? I'm kidding, kind of. Its really expensive!
