From the National Weather Service this afternoon: Our break from seeing accumulating snow looks to come to an end this weekend, possibly in a big way. Confidence is high we will see a major winter storm across the upper Mississippi Valley this weekend, though confidence in the exact track of the storm and its associated swath of heavy snow is considerably lower and will likely shift some in the coming days.
