The Hanover restaurant celebrated the new year with an announcement on social media. The Texas BBQ restaurant announced it would be opening up another location in 2026, and the new location would be offering up its mouthwatering BBQ in a space that will have a bit of a different feel.

As we enter the new year, we’ve been reflecting on how much this community has meant to us since opening our doors in 2020. You’ve packed the house, shared countless meals, and made Big Bore Barbecue part of your celebrations — and because of that support, we’re excited to share what’s next.

The new fast casual Big Bore is planned to open sometime this spring, and is going to be located at a former McDonald's restaurant off East 7th Street in Monticello.

Kevin Williams Career As A Minnesota Viking

Kevin Williams was announced as one of the 15 finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, class of 2026 this morning. After being drafted 9th overall in 2003 for the Minnesota Vikings he spent the next 10 years with the organization, amassing over 171 regular-season games played for the Vikings and totaling 465 tackles, five interceptions, 60 sacks, 84 QB hits, 104 tackles for loss, seven forced fumbles, 13 fumble recoveries, and 68 passes defensed. Williams scored four defensive touchdowns for Minnesota. Two were interceptions returns and two fumble recoveries.
