As a fan of all things Halloween, I’m always looking for fun ways to celebrate the season. Whether it’s haunted houses, scary movies, costume parties, or anything else, I’m pretty much down for anything.

One festivity that I was particularly impressed with recently was Molitor’s Haunted Acres. I had the privilege of checking it out on the night of their dress rehearsal a couple of days ago, and I have to say, I had a lot of fun.

I won’t give too much away, but should you decide to check it out you can expect to kick off your evening with a haunted hay ride (which may either be terrifying or hilarious depending on who you are) followed immediately by a trip through a rather eerie maze.

I went with a group of co-workers and we all had a blast – not to mention, the food at Molitor’s is to die for anyway. Molitor’s Haunted Acres officially opens to the general public on October 5th and will take place every weekend through the 27th. You can get your tickets at the gate for as cheap as $24.
