Former Minneapolis Police officer Mohamed Noor has been found guilty of third degree murder and second degree manslaughter in the shooting death Justine Ruszczyk Damond.

The jury of two women and ten men was handed the case yesterday afternoon following the three-week long trial.

Noor was a responding officer on July 15, 2017 following a 911 call placed by Damond to report a possible sexual assault. When Noor and his partner arrived, Noor shot and killed Damond through their squad car window behind Damond's Minneapolis home.
