I'm so glad I have a garage and don't have to deal with this too often! In some states it's the law to remove snow and ice off the windows of your car before getting on the road. Minnesota takes it a step further.

The Minnesota State Patrol says you have to clean off your entire car, including all of the windows, the roof and the hood. You are liable if snow/ice falls off your car causing damage or an accident.

It's also a law that you use headlights when it's snowing, raining, hailing, sleeting or whenever visibility is impaired by weather or insufficient light.
