America’s Worst Coffee Brand is Sold in Minnesota
The best part of waking up... might not be what’s in your cup. (Yep, you probably guessed which brand I’m talking about.) It’s made the cut on a national list of the worst coffee brands in America - it's not the worst, but definitely not getting a gold star either.
According to the survey, these are the brands people say you should avoid, and yep, you’ll find plenty of them right here on Minnesota store shelves.
As someone who’s up at the crack of dawn for the morning show, coffee is non-negotiable. I say as I sip my coffee - one of the brands that just so happens to be on the list. It's not my fave, but I don't hate it. Not to mention, it's free, so I can't complain. But, now I'm thinking maybe I should after seeing it on this list.
Minnesota has some solid local brands. Fiddlehead, Caribou, Due North Coffee Co. just to name a few. I worked at Caribou in college and it created a bit of a coffee snob mentality.

Load me up with a Jamaican Road Warrior from Moka, A Dark Chocolate Nitro Mocha from Caribou, or a solid Caramel Latte from Steam or Cafe Aqui and I'll be the happiest girl in the world. But, I can also get behind a good cup of drip-brewed (or K-cup) coffee with a splash of tasty creamer.
What brands should Minnesotans avoid?
Fortunately, none of my favorites are on 24/7 Wall St's list, BUT I will need to rethink my choices, as I've had most of the brands mentioned.
