Leinenkugel’s Spritzen Hitting Stores Now

I am a huge fan of my hard seltzers like White Claws but now, there is a new product out that is perfect for beer and seltzer lovers. The flavors sound so delicious. Just in time for the warmer weather.

Leinenkugel’s is known shady beer. Its weiss beer and lemonade combo hits the spot on hot summer days. It’s one of my favorite summertime drinks, when I am out golfing, at family BBQs, and days spent at the lake. Leinenkugel’s has now gotten in on the canned seltzer market that’s quite unique. I think it’s one both me and my husband, Ryan will be able to agree on.

The Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company announced earlier this week that it’s rolling out a new trio of beers with a splash of seltzer called Leinenkugel's Spritzen.

Spritzen comes in three delicious-sounding flavors:

•  Grapefruit
• raspberry lemon
•  pineapple strawberry

According to Leinenkugel’s, Spritzen has a “beer-forward taste” but with a “clean finish and subtle fruit flavors of a seltzer.” So, it’s not quite a hard seltzer and not quite a beer—it’s firmly in the middle. Spritzen also has no sugar and no artificial ingredients.

It has beers timeless taste and yet the  modern rise of seltzers. Spritzen is perfect for the beer drinker that wants a healthier option. This isn’t the first time we’re hearing about Spritzen; Leinenkugel’s the company made an announcement back in November that it was in development.

The new drink will be available in three different packs: a 12-pack featuring all three flavors, a six-pack of raspberry lemon and pineapple strawberry, and a six-pack of just grapefruit.

Spritzen is making it’s way in to stores now. I am looking forward to giving it a try.
