Minnesota Man Wins The Lottery And Still Goes To Work
How much money would you have to win before you quit working for good?
Andy Gibbons from Ely won a million dollars in the New Years Day Minnesota Millionaire Raffle. But after he checked his ticket 8 times to be sure, he went to work. He works at a camp and he said there were things to be done. I'm guessing it was the best day at work he's had in a long time!
Depending on your lifestyle and your age, a million dollars is probably not enough for most people to retire on. Once you take out the taxes, you're left with a lot less than a million. And if you have a generous spirit, like to travel, or enjoy fast toys, you might need to hang on to your job awhile longer.
Would you quit your job if you won a million dollars? 5 million? 10 million? What would it take?
