The data collectors and number crunchers at Wallethub have come through the data to determine which states have the best public school systems, and Minnesota is among the best.

The coronavirus pandemic is throwing a wrench into things when it comes to public schooling in Minnesota. Depending on what district you're in, and what grade a student is in -- determines what learning model will be used. In Minnesota, that could be in-classroom, distance learning, or a hybrid combination of the two.

The Wallethhub team took a look thirty-three separate metrics to determine which state's public school system was the best (and which were the worst). Dropout rates, test scores, pupil-teacher ratios, education spending, and more were used to come up with the 2020 rankings.
