The NFL has announced that the Minnesota Vikings will open the upcoming 2019-2020 against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, September 8th at U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis.

That's my dad's 82nd birthday, so I got us tickets. (Don't tell him. He doesn't know.)

Schedule highlights have the Vikes at Green Bay on Week 2, plus five prime time games including the Vikings/Packers game in Minneapolis on December 23rd at 7:00 on ESPN.

If the Vikings are in the race at the end of the year, the league has given them the gift of three of four home games to wrap up the regular season.
