This is not an endorsement for you to play the lottery, but I thought this was interesting. Last week was a big week of winning through the Minnesota State Lottery.

Here is an example of more than one point four million dollars won around the state just from scratch off tickets. There were a lot of one-thousand-dollar winners, and I didn’t even count them.

Last week’s winnings break down like this:

In Breckenridge, someone there won one million dollars. The winning Casino Millions ticket was sold at Blazer Express Inc.

There was a solo two hundred-thousand-dollar winner. That was sold at the Kwik Trip in Anoka and was on a Queen of Crossword ticket that cost ten bucks.

Two people claimed a one hundred-thousand-dollar prize last week, one at a Cub Foods in Rochester while the other one-hundred grand winning ticket was sold at a Holiday Store in Scanlan.

Three people claimed prizes of twenty-five thousand dollars, four people won ten thousand dollars and another three won five grand each.

A total of five people won twenty-five hundred dollars and two people claimed two grand a piece.

The Minnesota Lottery says that all total there were six point nine million dollars won around the state just on the scratcher tickets. That total doesn’t count if anybody won money on any of the machine generate paper tickets.

A total of 410,333 winners across Minnesota won on scratch off style tickets.

It needs to be said that if you choose to play the lottery, do so responsibly. If you play, make sure it is with money you don’t mind losing. Please don’t take food off your table or put yourself in a bad situation with your creditors because you’re trying to strike it rich on the lottery.
