MOA Hosting Free Virtual Fashion Show with Project Runway Panelists
This year's 2020 Curated Style Panel is going virtual, and registration is free!
In all of the kerfuffle of this year, you may have missed Fashion Week Minnesota. For that matter, you might not have even known Minnesota has its own fashion week! Well, it does, and it just wrapped up. If you're totally a fashionista, though, and now sorry you missed an entire week of celebrating fashion -- fear not! The Mall of America's own Curated Style Fashion Panel is coming up next week, it's virtual and it's FREE!
"As things look a little different this year for our annual Curated Style fashion show," the Mall of America posted to Twitter Tuesday, October 6, "we wanted to bring the experience to you with a virtual panel..."
This year's panel features designer, author, illustrator and Minnesota resident Christopher Straub (Project Runway Season 6); Liberian-born fashion designer and stylist Korto Momolu (Project Runway Season 5); designer and social influencer Mondo Guerra (Project Runway Season 8); and trend expert, fashion TV correspondent and KARE11 MN Bound co-host Laura Schara. Together, the panel will discuss the future of fashion including the creative process, designs, fashion shows, sustainability and more.
Last year's event took place at the Mall of America and showcased eight capsule collections created by some of Project Runway’s most memorable and talented alums including this year's panelists Korto Momolu and Christopher Straub.
This year's Curated Style Virtual Panel will take place over Zoom Tuesday, October 13 at 7:00pm. Registration is free.
