The day before the election.  It's a big one.  We've been listening to this for basically the last four years.  I haven't really heard this much divide since  I have been of voting age.  Usually I can count  on all of the political ads, mail, and most of the conversation to go away within a few days of  the election.  But this year... I think that might be different.  At least on some levels.

No matter which way this election goes, there are going to be people who are upset.  And I mean REALLY upset.  And all one can hope for is that there will be some civil conversations after this election whichever way it goes.  I think that might be too much to ask for, however.

One thing that I will be glad about is the end to the endless pieces of direct mail that I receive on a daily.  It seems like such a waste of time.  I get them, don't really look at them, and immediately throw them in the trash.  And from what I've heard, most other people do that as well.  Those things are not cheap, and it seems like such a waste of time.

The other part of this that will come to a welcome end, is the amount of text messages I get on a daily basis.  How does that even happen?  I don't remember  giving out my cell number to any of these parties.  And it's annoying.  I have replied STOP to I think all or most of them and they just keep coming.

So, some of the cr...I mean stuff will be ending after tomorrow.  But the conversations and divided craziness will continue.  And also, how long do you think it will take before we have a clear winner in the presidential race?
