UNDATED -- Some early morning snow fell in central Minnesota.

The National Weather Service says St. Stephen had 2.6 inches of new snow, Sartell had 2.1, Rice recorded 1.7, and in St. Cloud there's 1.6 inches of new snow.

The heaviest snow appears to be around the Brainerd Lakes area where Pillager got 4.5 inches Thursday morning.

Here in St. Cloud we started the day with 17.2 inches of snow for the season, which is 4.5 inches above normal.

We're expected to add to our snow totals Friday, with another 1-2 inches possible.
