Sheriff’s Office Warns About Phone Scam

ST. CLOUD -- The Stearns County Sheriff's Office is warning you about a phone scam going around.

Authorities say people have been receiving calls the last few days that appear to be coming from a Stearns County Sheriff's Office phone number.

The caller says a relative is in jail and asks for money. These calls are scams and should be ignored.

If you have questions, you are asked to call the sheriff's office.
