St. Cloud Church To Hold Free Food Event Saturday

There are a lot of people that need a helping hand right now. People are trying to get back on their feet and are looking for any bit of assistance they can find.

When it comes to taking care of your family, having the basic essentials like food are at the top of the list.  If you or someone you know needs help with food, there’s an event on Saturday that they or you need to be aware of. 

Hope Covenant Church on 4th Ave. South in St. Cloud is holding a Food Giveaway event from 10am-11am this Saturday. 

Those who need food should bring a bag on Saturday morning and then go through the line. The food that will be distributed includes frozen hot dogs, bread, peanut butter, and canned baked beans among other items. 

In honor of the upcoming Easter Holiday, there will be take home Easter Egg Hunt kits for each family as well. Candy stuffed eggs will be inside these kits as well.

There will be additional organizations and resources on hand that are designed to serve people who need a helping hand too. 

One such resource will be the church’s prayer team who will be standing by to pray for people and their situations. Covenant Hope Church will also provide muffins and coffee for folks who attend this event on Saturday.  

Everyone needs a helping hand from time to time and if you are in that situation right now, this event is designed to help take a little pressure off. And when you are struggling, being able to alleviate any amount of pressure is welcomed.
