St. Cloud Will Be Home to A Unique Event This Weekend
Let’s go back to late 1995, early 1996. If you listened to the radio with any regularity, you heard a song from a New Zealand Band called “OMC” and their song was called “How Bizarre”.
It is a catchy song with a good musical arrangement, but the title is repeated throughout, “How Bizarre”.
If bizarre interests you, not the song but the unusual, interesting, out of the ordinary, and somewhat different, there’s an event that might be perfect for you. “The Granite City Bizarre Bazarre” this Saturday from 10-4 at the St. Cloud Armory.
This Saturday is also “Superhero Day”, costumes are encouraged.
If you like art, are an artist and would like to get some exposure, this event is for you. But it’s not limited to art, if you are a gamer or comic book collector, this is for you as well.
There will be artists from all walks of life and it’s a great chance to collaborate with others who share similar interests.
This event is for “makers” only. Creators and Collectors are also welcome at this event.
The organizers say this an event for “Geeks, Freaks, Nerds, and other Goths”. Oh, I guess I should introduce you to the organizers;
The Granite City Bizarre Bazaar
The Dream Stitcher- which is a home-based business that makes custom order quilts and bags. They also resell special fabrics.
Tink’s Nook- they say beaded jewelry and baked goods, how could you go wrong?
If you are a vendor that would like to be featured at this event, check out the vendor application. Get more details at GraniteCityBizarreBazaar.com.
