Sunday Is National Coffee Day
Sunday is National Coffee Day. And while there are several local and national coffee places, most of us still make it at home.
According to a new survey, 89% of Americans make, at minimum, one cup of coffee at home in an average week. My wife and I make way more.
The main reasons why are the cost, the convenience and it's part of our normal morning routine.
Here are some more interesting stats our coffee-drinking habits:
- 87% of us look forward to our first cup of coffee in the morning.
- 79% of us add something to our coffee, like cream and sugar. Older Americans are more likely than Millennials to drink their coffee black.
- 73% of us find making coffee therapeutic.|
- 60% agreed another benefit of brewing coffee is it makes your home smell good.
No word if Starbucks are doing any deals this year. But some other's national chains are. Check your favorite coffee place to see if their doing anything.
