I don’t know about you, but I’m not someone who gets a lot of sleep. Maybe it’s because I have insomnia, or maybe it’s just because I enjoy burning the candle at both ends. Whatever the reason is, caffeine is my best friend (for obvious reasons.)

I usually go to bed around midnight and wake up at 4 am during week days, and I’m really only able to operate during the day after consuming a coffee based beverage.

However, buying a fancy coffee from Starbucks or Caribou Coffee every single day can become rather expensive, so today I’m going to tell you how to make one of my favorite coffee drinks from the comfort of your own home- the caramel mocha. If you’re like me, making it yourself will probably save you about $100 a month. Here are the ingredients you’ll need.

  • Marzetti Old Fashioned Caramel Dip
  • Dark chocolate sauce
  • Whipped topping
  • Milk
  • Preferably, strong brewed coffee

And here are the directions.

Combine 2 tablespoons hot coffee, chocolate sauce, 2 tablespoons Marzetti Old Fashioned Caramel Dip and milk in a large coffee mug and microwave for 35 to 40 seconds. Mix until blended. Pour in remaining coffee and mix. Garnish with whipped topping and drizzle with remaining 1 tablespoon dip and serve.

There you have it! Serve and enjoy!
