The city of St. Cloud is in the process of transitioning 2 parks from wading pools to splash pads and are added a wading pool to one additional park this fall. That according to St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis, who joined me on WJON Friday.

The city of St. Cloud will be opening 3 wading pools again in 2024. St. Cloud Park and Rec Director Scott Zlotnik joined me on WJON. He says the plan is a open wading pools at Seberger, Pantown and Rotary Park West next Tuesday, June 11, weather permitting.

St. Cloud will open 3 wading pools Tuesday. That according to St. Cloud Park and Rec Director Scott Zlotnik. Zlotnik indicates due to a large leak at the Centennial Park pool the 3 that will open are Rotary, Seberger and Pantown.

The last 3 years the 7 wading pools in St. Cloud have been closed. In 2020 and 2021 the reason was due to the pandemic but this year the reason was due to a lack of part-time life guards to work at the pools. St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis joined me on WJON for a radio town hall meeting.
