In the last few days, I have been on St. Cloud's Northside running various personal and work-related errands. I began to notice that the Northside seems to have more Halloween-decorated homes than other parts of town. So, with that in mind, I put our dog in the car and headed out to see which side of St. Cloud had the most Halloween 'cheer'.

I'm not sure what it is but those giant skeletons are out in full force on the Northside of town. I ran into these two houses in a neighborhood off Veteran's Drive last night.

The houses were located across the street from each other. What a potentially fun neighborhood for Halloween!

I also spotted a home that had an elaborate backyard display, but it didn't appear to be lit up at night, it's right off Veteran's before the Centennial Shopping Plaza. If you go looking for it you'll see it. Unfortunately, I just couldn't manage a good pic with the light I had last night.

Why does it seem like the Northside of St. Cloud has more Halloween spirit? I know we still have roughly 2 weeks until Halloween, so some homes might not be decorated yet, but the Northside seemed to have more decorated homes and lawns vs the neighborhoods I drove through on the South side.

There's just one home in my neighborhood that has gone all out for Halloween decorations this year, and they did last year too. I just love the use of inflatables as they also give off some soft light for people walking.
