This Famous Minnesota Actor Gets His ‘Hollywood Star’
VINCE VAUGHN GETS HIS STAR
Famous Minnesota born Actor Vince Vaughn, known for his roles in many popular comedy movies like Dodgeball from 1996 and Wedding Crashers from 2005, was just honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this past Monday, August 12th, 2024.
FUNNY MAN VAUGHN
Vince and his family all appeared together in front of his new star. Vince delivered a speech at the ceremony recognizing his family in a touching moment, “So glad that you're with me on this now. I'm so grateful for you, these beautiful kids, and all the laughter we share together,” Vince said.
THE KIDDOS
Vince didn't forget his kiddos in this very important moment of his career. “As much as all this means, Vernon and Locklyn, you guys really do need to know that you guys are the most important thing in the world to me. You're not as lucrative. You don't give me access to the kind of stuff that this kind of thing does...but with that all being said, you guys are the most important and I love you both very much. It's great to have you guys with me.”
Vaughn's children Locklyn and Vernon are 13 and 11, respectively.
SPECIAL APPEARANCE
Mel Gibson made a special appearance to congratulate Vince as well. Vince is naturally funny and said, “The truth is, I'm feeling pretty empowered. It's all going to my head. Right? And I'm starting to feel like I've got a full head of steam.”
WHAT IS VINCE DOING CURRENTLY?
Is Vince still acting? Why yes he is! His most recent piece of work is called “Bad Monkey,” where Vince plays the role of Andrew Yancy, who is a disgraced detective who is 'unofficially' working a case in the Florida Keys after being suspended from work for assaulting someone. Bad Monkey has been described as fun, light, and a series that will make you want to go on holiday. You can find it on Apple+.
