We love surprising teachers that make a difference in the lives of their students by shining the spotlight on them and recognizing their greatness. Making sure they know what they do makes a difference in the lives of others and that it doesn't go unnoticed. We love surprising them with a gift basket full of goodies from Harvest Bread Co., Coyote Moon Grille, Concrete Image Salon, Clutch Take and Bake Pizza and a beautiful award from All-Star Trophy and Awards.

This week's teacher of the week is Jill Ambrosier, 2nd grade teacher at Oak Ridge Elementary in Sartell. We surprised her with this honor while she was teaching in her class this morning.

Here is the letter that was submitted by Casey Gallus:

I have 4 children ranging from kindergarten-11th grade. We have had many awesome teachers in the past but Mrs. Ambrosier is phenomenal!!! I have never met a teacher that is more thorough on a daily basis. I feel like I am always updated on what is going on each day with pictures and updates. You can see how much time she takes to correct papers, I don’t think I have seen a worksheet come home without encouraging words on it. On a couple occasions already this year she has gone above and beyond and even sent my son some things in the mail, we all know how much 2nd graders LOVE receiving mail. I feel blessed that my son is off to such an amazing start this school year and I believe a lot of is thanks to her extra effort.

The Principal Mr. Jason Mielke added "Jill is in charge of social emotional learning community. She is a very positive person. She put together a unity day video and organized a staff dance."

Thank you Jill Ambrosier for making a difference in these students lives.
