A lot of people have been working from home lately, and there is a chance you might be one of them.

You've either gone back to the "office" or you're going back soon. It might be good or bad depending on what type of job you have, who you work for and/or co-workers you work with.

You could love your job and hate your co-workers. If that's the case, then working at home probably feels like heaven. Or the opposite of that, you hate your job but love your co-workers. But if that's the case, you should maybe look into a new job.

Most likely, it's somewhere in between that pendulum. If you have a good enough job and work with pleasant enough people, there's a good chance that you've been itching to get back to work.

But how different is it going to be? Do you have concerns? Are there things you want to see differently? We asked our River listeners what they would like to see changed when they go back to their workplace. Here's what a couple of them had to say:

Separate sick days, so people don't have to use up their vacation time. People would be more likely to stay home if sick. - Tracy
“Essential workers” make a living wage with benefits so they CAN stay home if they’re sick. - Nancy Louise
This pandemic situation may make things better in the workforce. If people can do the same job from home, then this could be a significant shift in the job location. Many companies could lower overhead costs just by the lower square footage of an office.
But then again, they could layoff more people and get those profits higher.
