A Short Drive To “The Raspberries & Wine Festival” This Weekend

LOOKING FOR A UNIQUE WINE EXPERIENCE CLOSE TO HOME?

I've always wanted to visit a winery...sit down and taste wines and cheeses, walk the grounds, and have a lovely dinner. I'm not even sure if that's what you get when you go to a winery...but then today I was looking for unique interesting things to do for this weekend, and I found this.

RASPBERRIES AND WINE FESTIVAL AT WINEHAVEN THIS WEEKEND

Winehaven Winery, which is about 75 miles away, or about an hour and a half drive from here, is located at 10020 Deer Garden Lane in Chisago City.  They are celebrating the release of a batch of their new Raspberry wine, with hourly vineyard tours, free wine tasting, and lunch at the vineyard.  Oh!  What caught my eye was Raspberry Wine slushies! Yes!

The event will be held this Saturday and Sunday; Saturday hours are 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday hours are from 11 am- 5 pm.  There will be delicious flatbread pizzas to enjoy and live music!

RESERVATIONS ARE NOW REQUIRED

Four people per table will be permitted. Seating will be outside weather permitting.
