St. Cloud was the start of my radio career. I spent the majority of the '90s in this city. My first radio internship was at 103.7 KISS-FM in the Crossroads Center in 1989-90, and my very first part-time and full-time radio jobs were at 104.7 in 1995/1996 and 1998/1999. My (almost 30-year) radio journey: St. Cloud, Fargo (2x), Minneapolis (3x), Colorado Springs, Las Vegas -- and back, full circle, to St Cloud. My wife and I decided a couple of years ago that it would good if our children could see their grandparents more than once every few years. It was time to plant roots and stop the nomadic radio life. It was time to come home.
