
Benton County Job Opportunities Could Be Just What You Need
Well, here we are in the later stages of 2025. It’s hard to believe that the year has gone by so quickly. Think back to January, not the freezing cold, but to where you were with your job. Did you have the thought that this year would be the year you would change careers?

There are three positions open according to the county’s website. Let’s take a look at those closer.
Emergency Communications Officer-
The folks who fill this role will be the first voice that those who experience an emergency get to hear. Answering 9-1-1 calls as well as non-emergency calls and getting help to those who need it by using the technology that is available are a major part of the job. Also, you’ll be assisting others by gathering information to help those responding to the scene of the call.
Detention Officer-
Male and female detention officers are needed to supervise and help control those who are incarcerated in the jail. Making sure that policies are followed for the safety and security of everyone there. One major perk to this position, you could retire with full benefits at the age of 55.
Deputy Sheriff-
The Sheriff's Department is looking for community minded individuals who will help patrol and keep safe those across Benton County and in the Urban Centers of St. Cloud. If you have a passion for protecting citizens and their property, this is a position you should investigate more.
