Children’s Jewelry Kit Maker Recalls On Over 200,000 Products
If you have kids or grandkids, as they get older, they begin to want to form their own independence based on their personality. As they start to identify their own interests and talents, those things will begin to occupy their time more.

We as parents and grandparents are always on the lookout for ways to help them tap into their interests and help further develop them.
One popular item over the last few years has been jewelry making kits. These kits allow them to create themselves, their family and friends and maybe even start a small business.
One of the more popular makers of these kits has just issued a recall where over 200,000 of their products have been recalled.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reports Cra-Z-Art/Gel2Gem Jewelry Kits made by LaRose Industries recalled their jewelry kits because the resin contains an ingredient that is prohibited to be used in children’s products.
If the resin isn’t fully cured, it can be ingested which can be harmful to the users' eyes and skin and can cause respiratory issues.
There are eleven different jewelry making kits that have been recalled;
Shimmer N Sparkle Gemex Gel Kits
Be Inspired Gemex Sparkling Bracelets and Barrettes
Disney Minnie Sparkling Crystal Jewelry
Disney Princess Gemex Sparking Crystal Jewelry
Disney Frozen Gemex Sparking Crystal Jewelry
My Look Sparkling Crystal Jewelry
My Look Gemex Gel Creations Design Studio
My Look Gel2Gem Sparkling Sweets Charm Studio
Shimmer N Sparkle Sparkling Crystal Jewelry

Disney Little Mermaid Gel2Gem Sparking Crystal Jewelry
These jewelry kits were widely sold in big box stores and online. If you have one of these kits, you are urged to stop using it immediately and contact LaRose Industries for a full refund.
