The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that an infant swing has been recalled because there is a serious risk of injury or death by suffocation.

The Nezmdi Electric Infant Swing is said to have an issue with the incline angle when the child is asleep. The angle is greater than ten degrees, which exceeds the guidelines of the Safe Sleep for Babies Act.

This swing has two other issues that have been highlighted by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission. The first is that the swing failed to meet warning requirements that have been set down.

The second issue comes from the fact that it contains a coin sized lithium battery and fails to make consumers aware that this product contains this type of battery.

The swing was sold exclusively on amazon.com from September 2024 until February 2025.

These swings were pink in color with a white base and a black control panel. The measurements of the swing are 25.5 inches in length, 25.5 inches wide, and 20.8 inches high and comes with a remote control and a USB cable.

The swings will also have a leather patch sewn into the seat with the name Nezmdi into the restraints.

The remedy is to stop using the swing immediately and contact the company for instructions on how to get a full refund. Their email address is yingpengds@163.com.
