It’s Still Early, But We Could Get Snow for Thanksgiving
I'm no meteorologist or even a "weather man." I'm just a radio guy who reads a forecast on the air and hopes it's not completely off (which as happened).
With Thanksgiving coming up in ten days and knowing that a lot of people hit the road to go see their families, I thought I would check the ten day forecast for central Minnesota and see what we might be in for.
Keep in mind that this is a ways off and is subject to change. There could be an extreme change (for better or worse) because weather is a fickle thing. The following is from weather.com. So here we go...
Nov. 27th: "Thanksgiving Eve" - Wednesday calls for snow earlier and lingering snow later (40% chance) with about an inch accumulation and then a little more overnight. High 30/Low 24)
Nov. 28th: Thanksgiving Day - It's looking like it will start off with a mix of clouds and sun followed by a few afternoon snow.showers. High 30/Low 21 (30% chance of snow)
Nov. 29th: Day after Thanksgiving - It's looking pretty good for travel with partly cloudy skies. High 29/Low 20.
Nov. 30th - 31st: That Saturday look good as well. There might be some snow Sunday morning so if you're staying at relatives the whole weekend, you might want to bail on Saturday.
