Parents know that when you have a baby, you’ll do anything to keep that baby safe. Especially in those early years, you always feel like you’re having to be on guard for any unpredictable moves they may make.
When you buy the needed products to help in caring for your child, many parents are more inclined to read product reviews on those items to make sure that the one you choose will work as it’s designed, but especially in keeping your child safe.

A popular maker of highchairs for kids has issued a recall for a chair that puts that safety at risk. Costway says if you have one of their “Babyjoy” highchairs, you should stop using it immediately.

The problem exists because the chairs were marketed as a chair where the infant could also sleep in, but it has an incline angle of more than the ten degrees that is approved by the Safe Sleep for Babies Act.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says that the threat is that a child can suffocate because the space between the back of the chair and the tray is big enough for a child to become entrapped in it.

These collapsible chairs come in pink, beige, and gray. Each chair has a footrest, and detachable tray. The chairs under the recall will also have seat cushions that are the same colors as listed above that have stars on them and four static locking wheels.

These chairs are also adjustable, meaning you can raise or lower them, and they recline.

If you own one of these chairs, you can receive a full refund by sending the chair back or providing photos of the chair that has been destroyed. Get more details on how to do both by reaching out to Costway at recall@costway.com.
