2018 Was A Good Year…As Far As Tornado’s Go
It seems we have seen increases in all kinds of weather events. Floods, droughts, fires, etc. But there is one we haven’t. Tornado's.
2018 might be the first during modern record keeping era in which not a single EF4 or EF5 tornado touched down in the United States...so far. In fact, 2018 was quiet in general for tornado activity.
Add to that, the U.S. has had the fewest tornado related deaths in any year since record keeping began.
With a few days left in the year, this could change. Storms are expected in the south which could produce tornado's but so far so good.
