Are Your Kids Ready for Winter in Central Minnesota?
When my wife and I announced last August, we were moving to St. Cloud Minnesota from Western North Carolina, we heard all sorts of things about what we should expect when we got here.
A lot of what we heard was from people who had never been to Minnesota before, and honestly most of what they told us was not accurate.
The weather was the most popular thing we heard about, like we weren’t aware of the likelihood of bitter cold conditions we didn’t have in North Carolina.
One of the things we assumed was that everyone from Minnesota went ice fishing, and ice skating. But now that we’ve been here a while, we’re learning there are Minnesota natives who’ve never done one or both of those things.
If you want to give your kids to opportunity to not only ice skate, but learn to do it well, The St. Cloud Figure Skating Club could be just what you’re looking for.
They are accepting new members now to learn the basics of ice skating and beginning hockey. One of the ways that children learn to love sports or hobbies, is to learn to do them correctly so they have the best chance to excel at that chosen path.
The St. Cloud Figure Skating Club offers multiple family member discounts, and each session is normally around $15. All skaters begin in the learn to skate class which can range from kindergarten to adult basic classes and beginning hockey.
You can choose to attend classes 1 or 2 times per week, whichever fits your needs best. Click here to get more details or to reach out to the club.
