We are a society that is always looking for a faster, more convenient way to do things, so we are more productive with our time. No matter if it’s so we can get to work earlier or have more time for ourselves, products that can save us a few minutes here and there are very popular.

The U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission reported late last week that the Vivitar Blender Bottle made by Sakar is being recalled due to the potential for injury because the blenders blades continue to spin even when the bottle isn’t attached.

The recall says that there have not been any reported injuries to this point, but once the issue was brought to the attention of the manufacturer, they issued the recall.

This was a popular blender bottle that sold for around five dollars in December of 2024 and January of this year. Prior to the recall, around two hundred thousand units had been sold.

The bottles are made of clear plastic and have a white plastic base with a white top.  The item numbers for the recalled items involved are ES-15-BBTA and #MID5220824 are printed under the white plastic base of the bottle.

#MID5220824 is stamped on the underside of the white plastic base.

If you own one of these items, you are urged to stop using it immediately. Do not return the item to Target, instead you should contact the manufacturer, Sakar, directly to get a full refund.

Sakar will not require proof of purchase for the recalled models of their blender bottle.
