“How You Doing”, Minnesota? Flirting Help Is Now An App Away.
Full disclosure, this May, my wife and I will celebrate 28 years of marriage. I’ve never been on a dating app and wouldn’t know the first thing about being single these days. Even when I was single, I wasn’t a “player” or had what you would call “a game”. Awkward might be the best term for me.

If you are single and somewhat awkward, apparently there’s good news for you. I read in my daily email from The Morning Brew yesterday that the dating/hook-up app Tinder is offering some serious help for those who aren’t much at picking up intended targets in the dating field.
The app is rolling out what they are calling “The Game Game”, and the concept is that Tinder enrollees can practice their pick-up lines on AI Chatbots.
You can practice picking up a real person on a fake one? Yeah, that took me a minute to process too.
My wife and I both laughed out loud, literally, when I read this concept to her.
Here’s how it works, users will receive a deck of cards with unique scenarios on them, and then they are matched with a “persona” to flirt with. This is a timed event, and the goal is to charm the "Bot" with voice memos before the selected time is up.
The new addition to Tinder was launched on Tuesday, April Fool's Day, but is said to be a real thing because there’s actually been a slowdown in memberships to the app, and they want people to be able to focus making real-life connections. This type of program is starting to be used in similar areas according to multiple reports.
There is some real concern that this will cause users to not want to seek actual human beings and stick to artificial relationships.
This is an interesting concept to say the least, and hopefully for those that don’t have much of “a game” in dating, this will help. I can’t help but wonder if this will make getting over real rejection even harder?
