Some dogs enjoy going for rides in the car or truck, they enjoy the stimulation of a change of scenery just like adults. And most need and most enjoy going on walks.

The exercise is good for them, and again they can get bored just like we do. A good way to keep your dog in shape and offer them mental exercise and social interaction as well is at a dog park.  

There’s a website called “Technobark”, that is dedicated to all the latest gadgets and technology for dogs.  

The site recently featured an article about the best dog parks in each state around the country by surveying 3,000 dog owners.  They called them “hidden gem” dog parks.

#22 Minnehaha Falls Off Leash Dog Park in Minneapolis- This park is open from 6am until Midnight each day. The dog park is located on the south side of Minnehaha Park. The entrance is at 54th Street and Hiawatha Street. This area is partially fenced for your dog to be allowed to run free, and maybe even make new friends.

 #25 Arlington Arkwright Dog Park is in St. Paul- According to website BringFido.com, Arkwright Dog Park offers 4.5 acres and is a good place for your dog and you to get some exercise. This dog park is completely fenced, which will allow your dog to be off leash during your visit.

#39- Battle Creek Dog Park in Ramsey County- This dog park is south of Maplewood and is also off leash. There is plenty of free parking at Battle Creek Dog Park and no permits are required to bring your dog to this park.
