Minnesota Parents Should See This Recalled Item
No matter if there’s more winter weather coming our way or not, we know that it will be hot soon enough. I can say that on this side of winter, a month and a half ago, I wouldn’t have made that statement.

For parents of small children, keeping them cool and shaded during the warmer weather months is something that will be in the front of their minds. Hence the reason there’s a product from Nuby called a “Stroller Fan”.
This is a fan that you can attach to the stroller, car seat, and other items that will blow on your little one to keep them cool. This is a really good idea, as long as it does its job and keeps your child safe.
But there has been a problem with this Nuby product that has resulted in a recall. These products are distributed by Luv N Care. The U.S. Product Safety Commission reports the problem is that the guard on the front of the fan has openings big enough for their little fingers to get into the blades which obviously could result in a serious injury.
The fans in question have three speeds, flexible tripod legs that can wrap around items to be held in place. The fans are made of plastic and are black and have the Nuby name printed in the center of the fan. The model N8K10X and model number 25138.
There were over 33,000 of these fans sold between May and June of 2024 and were sold for about $15. These fans were sold at Target and Burlington Coat Factory among other national chains as well as nuby.com.
To this point, there have been 7 reports of children getting their fingers into the fan blades, 6 of those resulted in laceration to those children.
If you own one of these fans, you could stop using them immediately and contact Luv N Care for a free replacement.
