PepsiCo Adding Some “Pop” For Minnesota Soda Drinkers
Each year that goes by, the focus of losing weight and being healthier grows for so many Americans. But, let’s face it, it is hard for a lot of us to give up some of the habits we’ve developed.

The ever-changing marketplace for products that offer us a way to trim down and feel better keeps growing each year.
For those who are looking for a refreshing beverage that is said to have health benefits along with it have been finding “Poppi”. This was a product that gained attention on the hit TV show “Shark Tank”. The prebiotic product was known initially as “Mother Beverage” but was rebranded and then redirected to store shelves.
PepsiCo announced earlier this week that they are paying a whopping 1.95 billion dollars to acquire the drink. “Poppi” contains prebiotics, juice and apple cider vinegar with only five grams of sugar per serving.
The Morning Brew reports that “Poppi” and its primary competition “Olipop” raked in over $817 million dollars for the 52-week period that ended on January 25th of this year. There is also a third prebiotic beverage from Coca-Cola called Simply Pop that has been available for limited amounts of time.
The market for this type of drink seems to be only growing stronger, so it appears they’ll be space on the store shelves for the foreseeable future at least.
If you’ve tried many other things to help in your quest for better health or to look better, you’ve got more options to evaluate in the form of prebiotic sodas. Who knows, maybe this will be the one that works for you.
