If you’re like most people, by Wednesday evening, you’re feeling the weight of the last three days of work. And all you’re looking for is motivation and energy for the final two workdays that lie ahead.

The chance to unwind and relax with friends or family could be just what the doctor ordered to cross the hurdle that is Thursday and Friday.

The City of Sauk Center is offering you the chance to kick back and enjoy some great live music and unwind a bit.

Each Wednesday through August 21st, you’re invited to the Sinclair Lewis Park Bandshell at 6:30pm to check out some great local bands and entertainers.

This Wednesday, go back in time with the band “Crystal Breeze” who will jam to the sounds of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.

Wednesday July 17th rock out with “Dana and the Bottlerockets” who will play a variety of your favorite Rock ‘n Roll hits.

One week later, July 24th, dance to the Big Band Sounds with “Meier Grove Band”.

Wrap up July on the 31st, with a blend of rock, folk and oldies with “Cimarron”.

The first Wednesday in August features the country-rock sounds of “MN 13”.

Drag out your poodle skirts and penny loafers for “Custom Made”, who will bring back the sounds of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s on August 14th.

The summer concert series wraps up on August 21st with “Kat Blue” playing acoustic favorites.

Each week, a local business or organization sponsors the concert and there are overall sponsors who support the enter summer of live entertainment in Sauk Centre, that’s how you get to go for free.

This is a great way to connect not only with friends and family, but your community as well. Put these dates in your calendar and hopefully you can re-fuel each Wednesday in Sauk Centre.
