When the weekends roll around, these precious couple of days allow people to do some things that time does not allow for during the week. Sleeping late, maybe staying up late, and for some people, gathering to eat breakfast.

With everyone’s schedules during the week being so busy, breakfast is normally eaten in a hurry, or from a paper bag from a drive-thru, or while their beginning their workday, so having the opportunity to sit down for a full breakfast with family or friends is a treat when everything aligns for that to come to pass.

I saw a post last week in a St. Cloud Area Facebook group asking which restaurants served the best breakfast in the area. As someone who is still learning the best places to eat around St. Cloud, I paid particular attention.

Here are some of the responses.

Beth says not only does Brigette’s Cafe in St. Cloud have the fastest breakfast around, but it’s also the best. Akeva also added a vote for Brigette’s. BreAnna says get there early because Brigette’s fills up quickly. Jenna, Vicki and Trista agreed.

Jen added that the Park Diner in Waite Park has a good breakfast too.

Janet and Matt each added Kay’s in St. Joe.

Dolsie’s Lunch Box got votes for breakfast on Saturday’s.

If you’re looking for brunch suggestions, Lost Time’s Tavern, Granite City Brewing and Big Lake Cafe were all recommended.

If you’ve got suggestions to add to this list, please feel free to add them.
