My wife and I have puppy fever real bad.

Conversations about getting a puppy have been growing more frequent in our home, and images of puppies seem to be appearing more frequently on social media as if Facebook and Instagram know what we're thinking.

One of my all-time favorite dogs is the Husky. I've never owned one, but ever since I was a kid I've loved the soft black and white fur, pointy ears, blue eyes and wolf-like resemblance. I've always known that huskies are incredibly energetic and require a lot of exercise, but hey -- I love being outdoors! A husky would be a perfect fit for my wife and me!

Or so I thought.

I recently came across a list of the 10 Most Dangerous Dog Breeds in the World and was hugely disappointed to find Siberian Husky on that list as well as Alaskan Malamute and Wolf Hybrid. While all three are technically different breeds of dogs, their energy, independence and natural wildness make them unpredictable and dangerous. Needless to say, I probably won't be able to convince my wife a Husky is the right dog for us.

The full list of popular but dangerous dog breeds includes Great Dane, Boxer, Bullmastiff, Dobermann Pinscher, German Shepherd and Rottweiler. Read more about why each breed is considered dangerous here.

Do you have any of  these breeds or know someone who does? What has your/their experience been like?
