ST. CLOUD -- After nearly six months at Crossroads Center, Uff-Da Records will be moving to a new location.

The used record store will be moving to a larger space at 80 33rd Avenue South in St. Cloud. The new spot will be in the former Minnesota Kettleball space, which is in the same strip mall as Bravo Burritos.

Owner Jeffery Pederson says the business is growing fast and he needed to be in a larger space.

"When I started this business I really didn't foresee us running out of space, or growing out of this space so quickly but we definitely need the room to expand."

Pederson says he'd like to have more of a stage area for musicians to come in and play as well as more seating for customers.

"[We'd like to] do some other things that we aren't necessarily able to do in the mall. Such as have electric in-store performances, things of that nature, and just to have a little more space to move about."

Uff-Da's new space will be about double the size of its current location. Pederson says depending on the needs of the business, he will be considering hiring more staff. As for right now the record store has four employees.

After the move, Pederson says to stay tuned to their Facebook page as they will be announcing their new hours for their new location soon.

Uff-Da Records plans to be settled in their new spot by the end of the month. The store opened in Crossroads Center last March.
