Friday was National Cereal Day, and we posed this question to our listeners through our app and social media pages, “What is your all-time favorite cereal”? I framed the question this way, if you could have your choice of cereal, what would it be, and not what your doctor says you have to eat now.

The answers were interesting for sure, and with a few surprises.

One that always gets mentioned by quite a few folks is Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Joey mentioned this one as well as one of our favorite restaurants, Up In Smoke BBQ.

Rene chimed in with Honey Nut Cheerios as did Joey.

Laura’s response was one that we ate a lot when I was a kid; Lucky Charms. I’m sure Laura was like me, more of the marsh mellows and less of the crunchy stuff.

One that was sort of the best of both worlds was Abe’s vote, Cookie Crisp. Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies as a cereal, yes please!

Jill said her favorite was Honey Bunches of Oats, while Brittany said her “go to” was Frosted Flakes.

Joe mentioned one is underrated for sure and that’s Reese’s Puffs. Lynette picked one that has been a favorite for children for years, Cap ‘N Crunch.

Shawn brought us Quaker Oat Squares.

There were a few healthier options mentioned as well. Penny says Special K with Berries.

Roxanne also went healthy with Raisin Bran. But, she also added a weakness for Krave. Crystal said even though she can’t have them anymore, Strawberry Mini Wheats was where her vote went.

My contributions to this question weren’t so healthy and included Fruity Pebbles, and I wasn’t alone. Laura and Josh also said this was their all-time favorite.

My other contribution was Boo Beery. And even though I’m 53, I’m still hoping to have them both at the same time at some point.

Then through this process, someone asked a question which took this to a deeper level, do you want your cereal soggy or crunchy.

So, there are two burning questions, what is your all-time favorite cereal and soggy or crunchy? What say you?
